Bridget

&

Thomas

"I have found the one whom my soul loves." — Song of Solomon 3:4

They're getting married

“Adventurous, caffeinated, and loving” — that’s how they describe themselves. And honestly? That says it all.

The Wedding

Bridget and Thomas are overjoyed to welcome you to the celebration of their marriage. This day marks the beginning of their forever — a moment they have prayed for, looked forward to, and cannot wait to share with the people who have walked beside them, loved them, and shaped who they are.

Your presence on this day means more to them than words can say.

Dress Code

We'd love for our guests to dress up and celebrate with us in style. The reception at La Ventura is an elegant evening venue, and we invite you to dress accordingly.

Think: floor-length gowns, elegant midi dresses, suits, or tuxedos. Rich tones, jewel colors, and classic neutrals are all welcome.

We kindly ask guests to avoid white, ivory, and champagne tones out of respect for the bride.

A story worth telling

Bridget and Thomas first crossed paths at UCLA during a combined Coptic Club meeting with USC — two students, two paths, not yet ready to find each other. Life went on, and years passed.

It wasn't until a Lent retreat in 2023 that fate brought them back together. A few months later, Bridget was visiting Southern California during residency, and a first date quietly changed everything.

Our Story

The road to forever

Bridget is warmhearted, adventurous, and the kind of person who puts Tapatío on everything — a level of spice tolerance Thomas finds both baffling and endlessly entertaining. Thomas is honest, kind, and a great listener — and has a talent for slipping into random accents at just the right moment, which never fails to make Bridget laugh.

Together, they are grounded in the same faith, driven by the same values, and excited by the same things — good food, new cities, and a future built side by side. From Nashville to New York, Portland to Washington D.C., they have been building their love story one adventure at a time.

Thomas said "I love you" first — on the way to a Chef Michael Mina dinner in Nashville. Bridget said it back, and they both knew. He later proposed at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego: a picnic, the sound of waves, and a golden evening neither of them will ever forget. She said yes.

They couldn't stop smiling.

Our Story

The Journey

How they got here

First Meeting

College · UCLA

They met at a combined UCLA–USC Coptic Club event. Neither was looking. Life had other plans.

The Reconnection

Spring 2023

A Lenten retreat brought them back into each other's lives. Something felt different this time.

First Date

Summer 2023

Bridget visited SoCal during residency. A first date turned into something they both knew would last.

Making it official

September 2023

They made it official — the beginning of daily calls, monthly visits, and a relationship built across miles.

First "I Love You"

Nashville

On the way to a Chef Michael Mina dinner, Thomas said it first. Bridget has claimed it was the best meal ever (for more than one reason).

The Proposal

Sunset Cliffs, San Diego

A cliffside picnic, the sound of waves, and a question that was technically a surprise — even if the nail appointment gave it away.
